Destination London

The Trip to one of the most busiest Airport is ones nightmare. So to save you from this nightmare and to guide you for your stay in London a secure, peaceful and cheap one read more.

So the main problem which many of us might have experienced is Transportation in a new Toen or city. London is no exception that it has one of the most busiest airports but the transportation in one of its kind. Its a marvel to travel in the Tube and the buses are just good.

Staying could not be a big problem as there are many good hotels to book from amongst the cheap and best hotels in and around London.

Well that was about the Stay now lets come back to the Transportation. There are many modes of transportation from Airport to London some of them category wise are:

  • Fastest: Heathrow Express train to Paddington Station, Its a 15 min journey and regular trains are at 15 minutes interval. Its the best and the fastest way but little expensive at £15.50
  • Cheapest: A cheaper option is the Piccadilly Line to central London (London Underground i.e TUBE), it takes 50 min, Getting an 'Oyster Card' for cheapest travel would be a good option. A Single journey costs around £3.50 with oyster and £4 for a paper ticket. Zone 6 Travel cards are valid £6.70 for a day.
  • Most convenient: Combination of Heathrow Express to Paddington followed by a Taxi to your final destination is the most convenient but an expensive affair it could cost you for a Taxi from Heathrow to Central London will take around one hour and is highly dependent on traffic, priced highly at £45-60. Definitely not on my list.

So the next time you travel to London keep in mind that there are expensive and Cheap options too.
